Dr. Satyan K. Shah, M.D. (The "Prostate Guru") is a fellowship trained Urologist and specialist in the treatment of prostate diseases. After graduating Alpha Omega Alpha ("Top Gun") from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey, he went on to complete residency training in Urology at Loma Linda University in California. He then completed a prestigious fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Robotic Urologic Oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, where he honed his skills in Robotic Surgery, especially Robotic Prostatectomy.

Dr. Shah serves as Director of Robotic and Minimally Invasive Urologic Surgery at University of New Mexico Cancer Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is Board-certified by the American Board of Urology. Despite his surgical training and skill, he believes strongly that not everyone needs surgical treatment for this disease.
